Doula Certification

Supporting women during pregnancy and birth can be a rewarding career. A birth sister/doula training with Sista Midwife Productions can serve as the foundation to your entry into birth work. As with any training, our training is not the end of your learning path but only the beginning. With that said, we have a certification process in place that will guide you through the early stages of your learning and help you kick start your birth work career. While there are no national regulations recertification of doulas and the decision to become certified is a personal one, we hope that you will seek certification as a commitment to your continued growth and learning in this work. Please use the link below to learn more about the Sista Midwife certification process.

This 40 hour training takes place over TWO weekends

There are SIX total days of trainig.
Each Friday we meet from 4PM - 8PM.
Each Saturday and Sunday we meet from 9AM - 5PM
Attendance at all six days is required to be eligible for certification.

I spent the last two weekends completing a doula training with the inspiring Nicole SistaMidwife Deggins. I shared space with some beautiful and amazing women, learning and growing together. I am so excited to get started working with and empowering other women through their birth experiences and motherhood. Thank you Nicole for the incredible experience and knowledge shared.
